These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Yukkai application and the yukkai.com website (together, the “Service”), operated by Yukkai (“we”, “us”). By downloading, installing or using Yukkai, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Yukkai is a Mac-native application powered by Fusion Intelligence™ that orchestrates AI models, specialized agents, memory systems, tools and workflows. The application is free to download and use. Certain capabilities rely on third-party model providers or on the Yukkai Key, as described in our Terms of Sale.
2. Private beta
Yukkai is currently distributed through a whitelist. Access may be granted, limited or withdrawn at our discretion during the beta period. Beta software may contain errors and may change substantially between releases.
3. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Yukkai on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
4. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the instructions you give to Yukkai and for reviewing the actions it proposes, particularly actions that modify files or interact with applications on your Mac.
- You are responsible for the API keys you import (for example an OpenRouter key), for the usage they generate and for complying with the terms of the corresponding providers.
- You agree not to use the Service to create or distribute unlawful, harmful or infringing content, or to interfere with the operation of the Service.
5. Third-party services and models
Yukkai connects to third-party AI models and providers (including free models made available by LLM providers, open-source models run locally with Apple MLX, and models accessed through OpenRouter or the Yukkai Key). We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, pricing, output or policies. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider’s terms.
6. AI output
Output produced by AI models can be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate. Yukkai includes verification and review mechanisms, but you remain responsible for evaluating output before relying on it. The Service is not a substitute for professional advice.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including the Yukkai name, the Yukki lotus, and Fusion Intelligence™, is protected by intellectual-property laws and remains our property. Content you create with Yukkai remains yours, subject to the rights of the model providers involved.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
