A chat assistant answers your questions. Yukkai brings together a team of agents that act: they work with your files and Mac apps, share out the work and deliver a result. You are not tied to one provider either: you choose from more than 300 models, including OpenAI’s and Anthropic’s.

A Mac running macOS 26 or later. To run AI models locally with MLX, you need a Mac with Apple silicon. Cloud models don’t depend on your hardware.

Download it for free from the home page. It installs in about two minutes and there is no account to create: yours is created automatically and stored in your Mac’s keychain. On first launch, Yukki asks you a few questions, recommends the agents your business needs and starts your first missions.

Yes. Yukkai is free to download and use, with no account to create: the free AI models and Yukkai Free are available to everyone, along with agents, teams and workflows. To generate images, videos, music or voices, you need the Pro subscription, a pay-as-you-go top-up or your own key — or an open-source model installed on your Mac in MLX mode. Compare the plans →

Pro costs $100 a month and gives your team the full power of Yukkai: every business team, Shopify among them; Yukkai Fusion and Yukkai Frontier, to get the right model for every task; and images, videos, music and voices. Your usage is renewed every month, and a gauge shows how much you have left.

Yukkai Free takes over until your subscription renews. Unused allowance does not carry over to the next month.

Yes. Add your OpenRouter key to use more than 200 models through OpenRouter, billed directly by OpenRouter at the price of the model you use. Yukkai Fusion and Frontier are not available with your own key.

You can also install open-source models and run them locally on your Mac with Apple MLX — private and offline.

Both pick the right model for every task. Yukkai Fusion balances quality, speed and cost for everyday creation, research and action. Yukkai Frontier brings in the most capable models, with more reasoning and more verification, for the work that matters most. Both come with Pro and pay as you go, not with your own key.

Partly. Open-source models running locally with Apple MLX work entirely offline, on your Mac. Cloud models — Yukkai Free, Pro, pay as you go or your own key — need an internet connection.

Your conversations, files and creations are kept on your Mac. Only the information a task needs is sent to the AI model you use; with a local model, nothing leaves your Mac. The keys and passwords of your tools are encrypted in a vault whose key stays in the macOS keychain. We don’t read your conversations or files, and we don’t sell your personal data. You stay in charge. Payments, outgoing messages and deletions always wait for your approval, and you choose what else does — prices, discounts or public review replies, for example. Agents receive only the capabilities their mission requires, and automatic snapshots let you restore a file if an automated change produces the wrong result.

Yes — like any AI, output can be inaccurate or incomplete. Yukkai includes verification and review mechanisms, and sensitive actions wait for your explicit approval, but you remain responsible for evaluating results before relying on them.
